Job Description

Assistant Finance Co-ordinator Creative AgencyShoreditchSalary £24,000 - £30,000 depending on experienceOur Client is a rapidly growing Creative Agency Working across a few different platforms including Social Media /Video and Film Launch/ Live Events . Due to growth they are looking a new Assistant Finance Co-Ordinator to support mainly in the UK but also covering work in the US and East.The Role will report into the FDThe main responsibility will be :

  • Accounts Payable - allocating/ posting and paying invoices - statement reconciliations
  • Sales Ledger - Raising client invoices - ensuring compliance to Client Contracts - Reconciliation of statements
  • WIP management - Making sure that projects are being billed correctly and cost written off at the right time / right amounts / Correct income being taken in the month
  • Liaise with Producers/ Account management as required
  • Cash Collection
  • Ensure Bank allocations in Xero are correct and review reconciliations allocating any unallocated costs
  • Manage Time Sheets
  • Manage Credit Cards and the posting there of
  • Review and suggest improvements to accounting system and processes
  • Support FD and American Finance manager with adhoc projects
  • Help with Accruals & Prepayments
  • Support with Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Ideal candidate
  • You will have worked for at least 2 years in a creative agency environment
  • You will have good A levels Results and an aptitude to finance
  • You will have strong excel skills
  • You will be a self starter and keen to learn and develop
  • You will probably look to study
  • If you have Xero and Harvest experience even better
  • You need a good personality that will fit a creative environment
  • You will be sociable - the company when permitted like to take the whole company ( Circa. 100 staff globally on a weekend away)
