Job Description

My client a leading accountancy firm are looking to hire an Assistant ER Manager on a permanent basis. You will be providing successful solutions to employee relations issues based on employment law, expertise and business knowledge supporting across a widerbusiness of 6400 staff.Duties

  • Provide support and advice to key business stakeholders on sensitive ER matters including but not limited to, disciplinary, grievance, discrimination, contractual matters, restructures, capability, settlement agreements, policy support and other ER relatedmatters.
  • Facilitate formal ER investigations ensuring a thorough and fair investigation process has been followed
  • Analyse and assess the risks associated with individual cases, make recommendations and working with stakeholders to drive remedial action.
  • Liaison with the wider HR team to assess and analyse employee relations trends to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Support the development of the HR Advisor and be a point of escalation for any technical ER queries.
  • Support in organisational change activities including redundancy and TUPE programmes
  • Development and updating for people policies in line with legislative requirements
Competencies
  • Experience of working in an employee relations and policy focused role
  • Extensive knowledge of UK Employment law
  • Experience of independently managing your own ER Caseload
  • Experience of training and coaching HR and business management teams on ER best practice
  • Experience of reviewing and drafting of policies
  • Fully CIPD qualified
