Your role The Discovery team processes, analyses and produces a variety of data types in response to regulator requests, litigation procedures or investigations. We support corporates and their legal teams throughout the document review process helping to shape the review strategy and leveraging advancements in technology to gain efficiencies, thereby reducing the cost of review. We utilise industry leading software platforms, supplemented with our in-house developed enhancements and our extensive experience in the effective deployment of the tools, to meet the most challenging and wide reaching data discovery requests. Further, Deloitte delivers a fully integrated Contract Management solution that begins with the detailed analysis of an organisations existing agreement/contract management function and processes. The bespoke recommendations that follow help to set out the basis of a long-term managed service or assist analysis during M&A transactions.. Our technology and experienced technical PMO capability streamlines the contract creation, negotiation, execution and long-term management of an organisations contract portfolio. You will have a proven B2B sales track record ideally within the legal industry and will work closely with the Sales Director to build client pipeline that translates to downstream revenues in line with agreed targets. Drawing on your legal and commercial experience, you will understand our client needs and creatively apply Deloittes technology solutions to deliver sustainable benefits. You will play a key role on the preparation of client proposals and will take responsibility for leading client presentations. Working strategically, you will be designing programmes of operational and technological change for our delivery teams to subsequently act upon. You will be providing advice and guidance to new clients and will deepen those relationships to become their trusted advisor. This is a senior role in the business and requires a committed Assistant Director who is seeking to help build the business over the long term. You will be expected to develop the teams Discovery and Contract Management capabilities alongside taking the lead role in new business generation. You will be working directly with clients throughout the business development lifecycle and developing long term client relationships. Location: Your base will be at a Deloitte London office, however travel will be required for client-based projects. Your professional experience To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience: • Experience in the legal technology sector • Proven interest and experience in the convergence of technology and the law • Adopts a strategic thinking approach • Is a spirited advocate for change • Recognised as a trusted business advisor by key client contacts • Ability to scope propositions that lead to profitable delivery of engagements • Proven track record of meeting business development targets • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Proven stakeholder management and interpersonal skills • Commitment to development of the team and supporting their career development • Excellent communication, presentation and proposal writing skills.
