A leading commercial property company who operate a large multi-tenanted site in the Battersea area are looking for an experienced Assistant Building Manager to take on this busy and hands on role. Working closely with a successful Building Manager, you will assist in the management of this unusual site which houses a large number of busy occupiers who often have large deliveries and visitors attending site. You will enjoy being hands on and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved with some basic facilities tasks if required - this could be assisting with the onsite recycling or clearing a basic sink blockage. Any experience with loading bays would be useful but not essentialYou will be working closely with an experienced Centre Manager but will be confident enough to step up as required and be able to prioritise and manage your own workload. Relationship management is key so you must be confident dealing with a variety of people – this company value customer feedback, in fact they actively seek it out! In terms of character you will be a happy, friendly, super-organised candidate with a passion for problem solving and building relationships. The focus at this particular site is operations and facilities whilst delivering the very best customer service to its occupiers, you will also be involved in maximising sales opportunities wherever possible; coordinating social media, site marketing and events; all related finance and administration.In an ideal world the successful Assistant Building Manager will have worked in a similar building management / centre management position and enjoy having hands-on facilities elements to their role.
