Job Description

As a Block Manager Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Block Manager in the efficient management and maintenance of residential properties, ensuring the highest level of service to property owners and residents. You will assist in overseeingday-to-day operations, handling administrative tasks, and coordinating maintenance and repair activities.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of property owners, residents, and lease agreements.
  • Handle inquiries and correspondence related to property management.
  • Prepare and distribute notices, reports, and other documentation.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial tracking, and record-keeping.
Property Inspections:
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Prepare inspection reports and coordinate necessary maintenance and improvements.
  • Ensure that communal areas and facilities are well-maintained.
Maintenance Coordination:
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs, maintenance, and improvements with contractors and service providers.
  • Monitor the progress of maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Client and Resident Relations:
  • Communicate with property owners and residents to address their concerns and inquiries.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and residents.
  • Assist in resolving disputes and conflicts as needed.
Compliance and Legal Matters:
  • Assist in ensuring that properties comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support the Block Manager in handling legal matters related to property management.
Emergency Response:
  • Be available for after-hours emergency response on a rotating basis.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs and services as required.
