On behalf of our client, a sports betting business based in West London, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a constantly evolving business in a role which offers an opportunity to get involvedin a wide range of areas within the finance function. The position is part of a team of three and reports into the financial controller. This role would ideally suit a part qualified ACCA/CIMA student who is looking to continue and complete their studies.What’s InvolvedThis role is responsible for daily reconciliation of customer transactions as well as weekly and monthly reconciliations of customer and bookmaker statements. The role is accountable for management of the accounting system (e.g. accounts payable and receivable,journals) as well as monthly balance sheet review - including bank reconciliations and fixed asset registers. Preparing draft monthly management accounts is also a key part of this role.In addition, assisting the financial controller with;
