Our client, a leading international booking agency, is seeking a highly capable and motivated Assistant to join their world-class team of booking agents.Key responsibilities will include:· Supporting the Senior Booking Agent with the arrangements around live music tours.· Proactively liaising with tour managements, record labels, management, agents regarding tour requirements.· Attending shows when required.· Fielding incoming communications.· Negotiating routing and arranging dates with venues and promoters.· Issuing show confirmations and contracts.· Creating and updating artist touring schedules.· Working with promoters, venues, management, and ticket agents regarding tour announcements and sales.· Conducting a weekly collation of ticket sales figures.· Producing Certificates of Sponsorship for acts.· Raising commission invoices.· Settling show payments.· Creating show insurance requests.· Organising high level administration and data inputting for shows.Requirements:· Substantial experience working for a promoter, live booking agency, or similar field.· Genuine interest in live music.· Happy to attend shows and events outside of office hours.· Meticulous attention to detail.· Highly organized.· Good understanding of key social media platforms.· Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion.· Confident to work efficiently and learn rapidly.· Able to manage time and take the initiative effectively.· Proficiency using MAC, Excel, Mail, Word software.· Able to work independently and as part of a team.Please note that due to the volume of submissions, only successful candidates who meet the exact requirements will be contacted.
