Role and responsibilities As part of the team, assess new ESG-oriented rules to determine appropriate implementation and ensure Goldman Sachs Asset Management Public are compliant with ESG regulations and consistently evidencing work appropriately

• Be a source of technical rule-based knowledge with practical implementation expertise for public markets in relation to key sustainability frameworks set by both industry and regulators (e.g. SFDR, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, UK Stewardship Code, UNPRI and CSRDamong others)
• Stay closely updated on new and proposed ESG regulations and firm requirements that could impact the overall sustainability framework, ESG data, and general reporting and disclosure obligation
• Help design investment processes (e.g., ongoing monitoring expectations) to ensure delivery of sustainability commitments and compliance with ESG regulations in partnership with ESG Business Leads and other stakeholders.
• Help advise on ESG regulatory-related data collection and reporting requirements in collaboration with SI Research and engineering
• Support roll-out of ESG regulatory requirements by developing and providing training materials to investment teams, sales and CRMs, and clients
• Advise on creation of new and harmonization and scaling of existing SI processes, looking for automation opportunities where appropriate
• Deliver regular and cohesive sustainability related reporting to investors using both proprietary and industry standard templates
• Develop standardized ESG DDQ responses, content for investor sustainability updates and reports, Board presentations, and other stakeholder engagement activities

Experience and Skills:

• Collaborative, detail-oriented and organized with strong professional writing and presentation-creation skills
• Thorough, mature and professional
• Able to connect various requirements across multiple frameworks and coordinate efficiently with various stakeholders - both internal and external
• Proven ability to connect with investment and management teams and be a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to excellence, integrity and collaboration is a must
• Experience with key sustainability-related regulations and standards including SFDR, EU Taxonomy, TCFD, UK Stewardship Code, UNPRI, CSRD, SASB, GRI, etc.
• Experience in Asset management investing/industry preferred
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
