Job SpecificationDepartment Overview:CSD FM UK is part of the Global FM CSD organisation. The GEP/GSF Client Loyalty Team within CSD FM UK comprises of GSF ELR (Equity Lending and Repo) settlement activities, Equities settlement activities, Derivative SWAPs and Asset Servicing. The team deliversoperational services to business partners and clients in global locations, across 40 developed and emerging markets, and is responsible for the day to execution, control and delivery of operational services, including agreed regulatory responsibilities.In addition to working closely with our Business Partners and external clients CSD FM is responsible for managing Service Providers and coordinating with other support functions of the bank such as Finance, Market Risk and Product Control, Credit, Compliance,Legal and IT to ensure services are delivered to the highest standard and meet regulatory, risk and control requirements.The department is responsible for end-to-end settlement processes for both cash equities business lines and equity lending and repo and includes oversight and management of offshored and outsourced processes. The team provides analytic or administrativesupport to traders, liaises with counterparties and clients (both internal and external) and manages the interactions with Accenture Post Trade Processing (APTP/ATOM) - our main service provider in relation to all aspects of the Asset servicing and settlementactivities required for the effective, accurate and timely settlement of all trade activity.There will be opportunity to participate in change initiatives as required in support of the development and maintenance of services and regulatory requirements, ensuring changes are integrated into the operational execution or service delivery maintainingSLA, service and control standards.Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:The team ensures that multiple stakeholders and Service Providers have a single point of contact through which responses to informational requirements will be guaranteed. It provides the governance around client and service performance through the receiving,routing, monitoring and reporting of information.Operations processing is sourced by ING from a third-party provider. Most processes are delivered by the third-party provider with ING managing oversight through an established service model which includes service meetings, SLAs and KPIs. Except for certaintax related activities, ING does not process any Asset Servicing activities onshore.The Operations Specialist will be responsible for oversight of the end to end Asset Servicing process for both Cash Equities and ELR activities.
