MMP Consultancy are currently seeking an Asset Compliance Manager for a permanent position with a social housing provider in London.All candidates must be qualified, hold social housing experience and be adept with mechanical and electrical services as well as the big 6 compliance areas.Key Duties:* Accountable for the strategic direction of the housing stocks compliance to statutory and non statutory landlord duties, delivered operationally both directly and indirectly. * Support Head of Service in ensuring effective contracts are in place to deliver the required works to the asset whilst maintaining insurance across the property portfolio.* Lead on the overview of Health and Safety policy across the business.* Maintain legislative changes and identify any potential issues or future changes to remain compliant.* Develop a risk management process which eliminates / reduces hazards through inspection, testing and training.* Carry out scenario planning including stakeholder consultations, carry out investigations into accident and loss.* Manage the programme of works which utilises data and information to prioritise seriousness of works required and remain as risk free as possible.* Develop a wider scope of processes, procedures and policies which remain relevant and can be utilised across all working platforms. * Create objectives, programmes and projects, managed through KPIs to measure performance.* Tight contractor management across all disciplines.* Manage an internal team of compliance specialists within their fields, lean on their experience whilst managing performance, output and general employee welfare.* Ensure effective data management and systems which are used to make the storing of documentation and data in relation to compliance easier and more accessible.Qualification Requirements (Essential_* NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.* Evidence of significant relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD).* Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and good practice.* Knowledge of the compliance and regulatory framework in which ALMOs and Registered Providers operate in relation to health and safety, data management and insurance.* Knowledge of the requirements of the Data Protection Act.* The ability to support, challenge and work effectively with partners and colleagues.Details below:Title: Asset Compliance ManagerSalary: Up to £65k Per AnnumContract: PermanentLocation: London Required skills
