The Arts Systems Manager role is a new opportunity and sits within our Arts and Events team. We need someone to firstly audit the way we are doing things now, and then find ways of optimising all of our processes and systems so we can deliver our bestwork.Arts Systems ManagerLocation: Dartington Hall TrustDepartment: ArtsHours: Full time, 37.5 hours per weekContract: PermanentSalary: £25,000 per annumThe successful candidate will ideally have significant experience working with processes and systems withinan arts, events, or learning background, and a keen interest in the arts. Part of the role will involve being a systems Superuser for Spektrix, and overseeing the use of Artifax across the Arts, Short Courses and Learning programmes. The right candidatedoesnt need to have previous experience of these specific systems, but would be someone who will pick them up quickly, and knowledge of similar event and space management systems, and CRM experience, will be vital, as will a generally high level of ICT skillsand excellent attention to detail.This is a really exciting time to be joining the team at Dartington as we are expanding our arts offer to include more festivals and events during the year, and our short courses programme is developing a wider offer includingperforming arts, crafts, ecology, writing and wine. We want to appoint someone who will help us put in place really robust processes to support the smooth delivery of these courses and festivals, as well as working closely with our well established Music SummerSchool and Festival and Barn Cinema programmes.As with most jobs in the arts this role will involve occasional evening and weekend work around events.
