Area Sales Manager - Insulation Products Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Insulation ProductsIndustry Sector: Structural Insulation, Insulation, Dry lining, Building Materials, Roofing Insulation, Roofing Contractors, Waterproofing Membranes, Wall Cavity, Flat Roofing, Pitched Roofing, Roofing applications, Housing Insulation, Dry wall, Fire Protection, Fire Proofing, Plasterboards, Independent Merchants, National Merchants, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Specialist Contractors, MerchantsArea to be covered: LondonRemuneration: £40,000-£50,000 + £9,000 bonusBenefits: Company car + comprehensive benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Insulation Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a comprehensive range of distributed insulation systems for roofing, flooring, building, fire protection, dry wall and a large range of other applications
  • 50% of your time will be spent selling to and stimulating with main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors
  • The reaming 50% of your time will be spent selling to national and independent builders merchants
  • Depending on your skill set, will determined who you sell to predominantly
  • Dealing with typical order values which can range from £500 - £50k
  • Majority of your time will be spent generating new business relationships, with the remaining portion of your time managing existing accounts
  • Working closely with the National Sales Manager
  • Will be covering predominantly inside the M25 however will have the flexibility to win new projects in the home counties
  • Depending on location will determined if you work out of the West London office
    • The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Insulation Products with:
  • Must have related product experience selling insulation, dry lining, drywall, plastering, render, EWI, acoustics, floor insulation, wall/ floor /ceiling lining, building boards, fire proofing or internal building materials
  • Must have experience selling to national and regional independent merchants, main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist contractors
  • Would consider somebody working for a merchant with field sales experience
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Commercially capable, loyal and technical
