Job Description

Our client, a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice have just opened a vacancy for a proactive Architect to join their friendly studio in London. They hold a vast portfolio of high end, bespoke projects varying between the Commercial and Residential sectorson a medium scale, with some exciting projects abroad. Their projects are orientated through their ethos for conservation and protection of heritage sites, so would like their next recruit to have a passion for this aspect of Architecture.The most successful Architect will have varied experience with a prominent aspect involving unique residential properties, this will ideally be displayed in a portfolio. This is an extremely progressive opportunity which will open opportunities to gain exposureto all areas of a project, site visits and communicating with a range of external stakeholders and professionals. Our client has an exciting pipeline of projects so are looking for you to hit the ground running, using your initiative to pick up projects quicklyas well as delegating to stick to deadlines and work efficiently.The studio is receptive in their search therefore we encourage Architects of varying levels to apply for this fantastic opportunity.Architect Position Overview

  • Take ownership of projects from planning stage through to completion
  • Prepare and produce technical BID and tender documents
  • Create engaging designs that exceed the project brief
  • Running projects independently and in a team
  • Maintain and form strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Completing feasibility studies
  • Frequent site visits
  • Working on unique projects and expanding your skill set.
Architect Position Requirements
  • Relevant UK Qualifications i.e. Part I/ Part II/ Part III
  • 3+ years experience Post Part II/III
  • Experience working on projects from RIBA stages 0-7
  • Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Proficiency with Revit
  • Experience within Conservation Architecture and Heritage projects
  • Must be a Proactive, efficient worker
  • Need strong communications in order to feel confident liaising with stakeholders and professionals on site
Architect Position Remuneration
  • Competitive Salary (£30,000 - £40,000 DOE)
