Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Arabic speaking Paralegal to join a Top 30 UK Law Firm in their Commercial Litigation team!ABOUT THE FIRMOur client is an international, Legal 500 law firm who are known for their high quality, client-focused services across a wide range of practice areas. The firm are headquartered in London but have 1000+ employees across 8 offices globally.ABOUT THE ROLEThe role sits within the Paralegal Services team but will consist of supporting the Commercial Litigation department, working alongside the Head of International Arbitration. Duties will include but not limited to the following:

  • Translation of documents
  • Performing legal and factual research tasks
  • Preparing bundles
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Preparing reports and basic notes of advice
  • Case Management - including organisation and tracking case files
  • Review and analyse documents (e.g for disclosure)
  • Proofreading and checking cross-references
The firm are offering a salary of £30,000pa (pro-rata) and a hybrid working pattern.Please note that this position is a fixed-term contract initially expected to last 3 months, however there is a possibility of that the contract will be extended.ABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will be fluent in Arabic and ideally have previous Paralegal experience or be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in starting a legal career. Other key requirements include:
  • Strong academics (ideally a 2:1 and more than a pass for LPC or GDL)
  • Excellent drafting, presentation and communication skills
  • Organised, with good time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Proactive and resilient
  • Team player
