Job Description

The college BR6 Restaurant and Bakehouse, a sixty-cover restaurant based at Orpington,are looking for an apprentice Food and Beverage Team Member. You will carry out basic food and beverage tasks under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager. A significant part of activity will be to support the day-to-day running and maintenance of dailyoperations including table layup, customer and food service, menu promotion, processing food and drink orders, managing food safety and health and safety. Also, to assist with deliveries, stock counts, menu planning and general restaurant cleaning. You willlearn and ensure each stage of food and beverage service meets business / brand standards. You will also be required to demonstrate food and beverage skills in table service, bar and counter service, provide accurate information on alcoholic beverages, prepare,serve and store alcoholic beverages in the correct manner and use specialist equipment for preparing and serving alcoholic, hot and cold beverages appropriately *Please apply as soon as possible as applications will be considered upon receipt; we reserve theright to interview before the closing date*.
