• Specialize in Building Management System Design: As part of the BMS team, youll design systems for industrial, commercial, and residential markets, which exposes you to diverse projects and environments.
• Consultation Focus: Our team is primarily focused on consulting with clients to enhance their buildings, reduce running costs and emissions, and improve overall performance.
• Comprehensive Knowledge: Youll gain a solid understanding of the main areas our systems interact with, including HVAC controls, Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Services Systems.
• Guidance and Mentorship: Your mentor will guide you in fundamental BMS engineering principles, teaching you innovative methods to lower energy costs, reduce emissions, and improve building efficiency.
• Technical Role: As an apprentice, youll create detailed designs and calculations for various systems, ensuring compliance with industry and legislative standards.
• Diverse Project Environments: Our team works on BMS systems in various environments such as warehouses, manufacturing plants, retail spaces, commercial offices, and schools. This exposure enhances your understanding of different BMS design applicationsand challenges.
• Client Interaction and Site Visits: Youll get the opportunity to visit client sites with colleagues to conduct surveys and gather information, aiding in the development of comprehensive design plans tailored to specific client needs.
• Education and Training: Youll be enrolled full-time in a "Level 4 automation and controls engineering technician qualification". This program combines on-the-job work experience with college education, providing a comprehensive learning experience. Training and Qualifications:

• You will be enrolled on a level Level 4 automation and controls engineering technician qualification.

Career Progression:

• Upon completion, a number of internal engineering opportunities within the company will be available to you. All of our apprentices immediately move into full time permanent positions.

Qualifications Required:

• GCSE or equivalent in English (Grade 5)
• GCSE or equivalent in Math’s (Grade 5)
• Full Driving License is desirable.

What happens next

• Suitable candidates will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position and provide necessary documentation. Afterward, you will be invited to an assessment center in May, assessment centers typically include a combination of activitiessuch as group problem-solving tasks, individual interviews, and presentations.
• Within 48 hours of the assessment center, candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful, they can begin the apprenticeship on September 2, 2024.
