A blue-chip name in their sector, they are going through a 2 year Strategic Transformation, and as part of that they are looking to bolster their Application Support team to drive Change and improve efficiencies through the use of DevOps. As well as the Change side of the role you will be expected to bring deep-specialisation in the day-to-day operational / BAU aspects of running a successful production support team.The challenge with this role is that the main aim of the position is to turn around an under-performing team with a culture of being “just good enough”. The expectations in the company are now going in a different trajectory to this mindset, and so whoever comes in needs to be able to show a track record of being able to turn around and coach mediocre staff members and turn them into star performers.Required Experience:- Application Support teammanagement- Financial Services experience, or at least mission critical environments- Track record in continuous improvement- ITIL- DevOps- Agile- Excellent people management and motivational skills
