We combine high-touch consultancy with worldwide search capability and digital sourcing technologies to help you recruit better, faster and cost effectively.Job description:My client is looking to hire an Application Security Manager/Lead to work within their cyber security function which boasts over 50 staff across one floor. You’ll be working with the most cutting edging tools within the IT security industry and managing a team of up to 5 highly skilled application security engineers whilst being hands on.Some duties listed below

  • Build on secure coding practices and application security within the company any experience with automation is beneficial
  • Lead and manage colleagues with expertise and knowledge around application security and coding
  • Security Architecture and LLD Application Security reviews involving - Authentication and Authorizations, Web Application Security and firewalls
  • Experience of threat modelling practices which are integrated into the SDLC

  • Any hands on experience with coding using languages such as Java / C# / C++, JavaScript and HTML or similar
  • Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25
  • Experience of web security applications, web servers, layer 7 application technologies
  • Experience with web application design, pen testing and risk assessment based on applications
  • If you have any code management system experience such as BitBucket, CI/CD system such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, micro service architecture, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.
  • Good knowledge/experience in using SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA and fuzz testing tools
  • Good stakeholder management skills and interacting with other areas of the business
    • This is a permanent role based in London paying between £80,000-£105,000, bonus of up 15% and a non-contributory pension of 9%, private medical care and other excellent benefits included
