Job Description Well established but growing FinTech seeks an Application Security Engineer to join their Security division. This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with one of the following skill sets to move into an AppSec specialistrole: - Security Engineer who is close to the dev team or who has some coding skills- Technical security professional with good threat modelling skills- PenTester- AppSec Engineer/Architect/Specialist In this role you will ensure that security is baked intothe SDLC and will influence new products from early stages to completion, ensuring that security is built into the designs. You will assess the security of the firms existing products by threat modelling and PenTesting. You will work closely with the developersto educate them on security. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate security professional with some core skills in coding, threat modelling, pentesting or application security to move into a dedicated application security role. The AppSec marketis one of the fastest growing areas of Security currently, and choosing to move into AppSec will offer you excellent scope for future career, salary and skills development. This role can be offered as fully remote, or with 1-2 days a week in London (post-Covid)if you prefer the buzz of an office!
