Job Description

I am working with a leading global consultancy who are seeking an Application Security Engineer on a permanent basis.Your location can be fully remote - My client has hubs all over the UK if there is a need to be in the office.My client is seeking someone who ideally has come from a software development, coding background, securing code, and moved into Penetration Testing/Application Security and can help them in the next phase of there exciting journey as they continue to grow.Experience needed

  • Having experience/background in software development and being able to code and be able to secure code
  • An understanding and experience of threat modelling activities, vulnerability management and integration with SIEM tooling
  • Experience and an understanding architecting solution in at least one major public cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure or GCP, or similar.
  • A current understanding of vulnerability lists, such as the OWASP Top 10, and industry frameworks, for example the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Experience of integrating application security tools, such as SAST and DAST tools, into the CI/CD pipeline.
