NEED - The team are needing someone with extensive knowledge of overseeing an application migration project. Skills: Project management Planning and overview of project Stakeholder Management mainframe and application migration to Azure mainframe CICS/COBOL/IBM/DB2Application migration Azure Responsibilities of the CICS COBOL team - Description - Analysing and debugging an issue is time-consuming but would definitely be able to be tackled by anyone with development COBOL/CICS DB2 XPEDITER skills. Required skill set/ technical competencies: - Strong analysis skills - Strong technical understanding of the following and how they work individually: - COBOL including Hex values, intermediate values, etc. - CICS (CRITICAL) - DB2 - Technical challenges: The ability to identifyany technical differences between the way MANTIS handles situations and equate it in the COBOL CICS and DB2 environments - Basic understanding of MANTIS (for comparison purposes) - Debugging using XPEDITER - Ability to work alone - They would have to provethemselves to be competent BEFORE being able to change the code In the test trial of any new resource (no matter how good they are), the following areas are always going to detract from TSG actually achieving our own deadlines and will create an extra burdento our current resources.
