Job Description

Someone well versed in ReactJS and/or Angular UI frameworks who can hit the ground runningand take ownership of the tasks assigned and take it from start to finish. Why this role is important to us You will be joining State Street Digital, our new division that combines advanced trading technology, best execution and servicing expertise with proprietary market research and insights to support clients in decentralized financial markets. Together with otherteams across our company, you will be working on the evolution of our award-winning GlobalLink technology platform into a multi-asset solution that will include crypto, central bank digital currency, blockchain and tokenization. What you will be responsible for : As a Senior UI Developer lead for BestX, the ideal candidate will be:

  • Implementation and delivery of new UI features and enhancements to the BestX product
  • Taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through completion
  • Maintaining and enhancing the application and influencing technology decisions
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Establishing best practices, clean-code and design patterns

Education and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Individual should have at least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent
  • Individual should have at least 6 or more years of demonstrated hands-on experience building state-of-the-art and high performance web frontends using React and/or Angular JavaScript frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in building multi-platform UI products with effective interaction and innovative user journeys.
  • Solid understanding of the modern JavaScript build tool chain using things like node, npm, rush, yarn, webpack, babel
  • Hands-on experience working with Javascript, TypeScript, Websocket, React, Angular, Material UI, and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS and/or other modern cloud based infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
