Job Description

AML Analyst - Investment BankThe role will see you based onsite with one of our clients in Central London, as part of their Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Investigations function. You’ll become an integral part of a tight-knit, growing team made up of Wiley Edge consultants and the banksstaff.The team is responsible for carrying out analysis of transactional behavior of the banks clients. Your role will allow you to have a direct impact in combatting financial crime on a global scale, with one of the worlds largest financial institutions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in strategic projects taking place across the banks AML function.
  • Undertake an Alert Review for all Manual and Automated Alerts.
  • Carry out Case Investigation including the collection of transactional, account and open-source, consolidation, packaging and delivery of information.
  • Liaising with the Relationship Managers and obtaining crucial information in course of the investigation.
  • Providing guidance to either close or escalate open Cases.
  • Undertaking Quality Control (QC) on Cases which have been recommended for closure.
  • Providing input and recommendations to Global Technology and Intel & Analytics initiatives and processes.
  • Supporting the team lead with Quality Assurance activities.
  • Supporting in the updating AML Procedures and Policies.
We’re Looking For:
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience within AML, or a similar Compliance/Financial Crime function.
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of financial crimes compliance laws and regulations.
  • Confident in your critical analysis and judgement skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • A team orientated individual, with a strong sense of urgency when required.
  • Degree or equivalent industry standard qualification.
