AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR REQUIRED for VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS in the UAE to start in AUGUST 2021International Teachers Plus (ITP) is a Teacher Placement Agency offering full recruitment services and a wide variety of International EducationalPositions at reputable Schools and College in the Middle East region.Our client College in the UAE is looking for experienced Instructors to teach in the area of Aircraft Engineering Technology. They aim to provide innovative teaching, learning and trainingenvironments for students wishing to engage in future TECHNICAL careers. Every faculty member is encouraged to provide ideas and suggestions leading to continuous improvement of local teaching and learning practices and encourage alignment of Teaching, Learning,and Assessment practices with instructional and delivery methods, in line with related performance improvement standards. Responsible for the conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and/or student field excursions.The Faculty preparesand instructs student trainees in theoretical and practical classes on aircraft systems in accordance with the EASA/GCAA Part-66/147 requirements for Category B and for other student trainees assigned to study a specialized aviation course. The Faculty mustbe able to teach courses effectively at different levels (i.e. License, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor and beyond.)The Faculty conducts theoretical and practical sessions for Maintenance Certifying Technicians (MCT) EASA/GCAA Part-66/147 Category B andsimilar subjects related Military Specialized Training, as well as, Foundation Course related Basic Practical Training. S/He carries out operational training for (MCT) Cat. B and subject related Military Specialized Training on subject related test equipment.S/He assists the Head of Programme in curriculum and syllabi evaluation and aassists in drawing up schedules for theoretical lessons and practical training. Assists the HD in drawing up syllabi and curriculums for Military Specialized Training Courses andFoundation Training related basic practical training. Advises and supervises technical faculty instructors. Assists in evaluating all theoretical and practical training of his faculty, Foundation Training related practical, and assists in drawing up suggestionsfor improvement.Responsibilities: Aptitude for teaching The ability to develop practical tasks and conduct practical training on aircraft maintenance activities such as inspection, overhaul, repair, replacement, modification, and testing using appropriateand related test equipment The ability to prepare/assess theory examinations and practical competence Actively participate in the development, evaluation and updating of the curriculum Ability to provide expertise and guidance into Aviation related SpecializedTraining courses Supervise, train, and mentor junior Instructors Monitor students progress continuously Organize and carry out Aircraft Line Maintenance training Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications The ability to think creatively andstrategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally The ability to work well in team teaching situations The ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groupsinternally Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment Writing clear and concise technical procedures and reportsQUALIFICATIONS: Master degree in related engineering/technology for Aviation PhD degree required in Engineering, preferably in AviationEASA/GCAA/FAA pt-66/147 license is preferred Excellent English communications skills and able to pass an IELTS test with a score of 6.5 or higherEXPERIENCE: Experience in EASA / GCAA Cat B / FAA basic training environment an asset A minimum of 3 years of teaching/trainingexperience Minimum of 3 years of Field experience A record of Publications in the aviation and/or in an engineering related field Knowledge in military aviation training concepts an assetCONTRACT DETAILS:To Apply: To take advantage of this opportunity to workin an exciting country with opportunities to develop both personally and professionally please follow the website link below to complete an Application and upload your CV.
