Job Description

Air Hygiene Technician Tottenham£26,000-£33,000 + Benefits (DOE)The UKs foremost provider of specialist ventilation hygiene and legionella control now have an exciting opening for a hard-working individual to join their team. They guarantee industry leading expertise from one of the UKs longest established specialistair and water hygiene treatment solution providers.This is an exciting and rewarding opportunities to either develop or build on a career in a growing engineering discipline. Our client is currently looking for multiple people across the Southeast with multiple job roles. Salaries will be dependent on previousexperience, how you interview and any relevant qualifications.Key Duties of an Air Hygiene Technician:

  • Local exhaust ventilation testing.
  • Ahu and fan coil maintenance.
  • Water tank cleaning and remedial works.
  • Kitchen canopy cleans, grease readings, and filter cleans.
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors and all walls.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19.
  • Fire damper inspections, testing and installs.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Key Skills & Experience of an Air Hygiene Technician:
  • A full UK driving license is essential for the role.
  • You must pass be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • IPAF, PASMA, BESA TR-19, CSCS card and L8 awareness will all be beneficial.
  • You must have some experience in a similar role, but training in most duties is being offered.
Normal working hours will be 8.00am to 4.15pm Mon-Thurs and 8.00am to 4.00pm Fridays. There will be some out of hours working for instance night shifts which are 8-10 hours.
