Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Air conditioning Service Engineer, to join our client working in the areas to cover central London and surrounding areas. Our Client is a fast paced Air conditioning company covering all aspects of Heating and Ventilation with a large and rapidly expanding client base.The work includes air conditioning, vent and mechanical, Splits, VRVs, chillers, AHU’s LTHW and chilled. You will need have experience in PPM and fault finding for this equipment and be competent and will also be fluent on F-GAS regulations. Quality and attention to detail are the key things they look for as They work in safety critical environments, so you must have a good appreciation for health and safety.Quality and attention to detail are the key things that we are looking for.Requirements:

  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 2/ part 2 in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration
  • Category 1 F-Gas 2079 or equivalent
  • To be time served and experienced in all aspects of building services and HVAC and will be confident in working on varied equipment.
  • To assist and contribute to the service department’s daily operation.
  • To participate in assigned long-term contracts, programs and projects.
  • Be directly involved in the work delivery department’s routine operations by carrying out works and completing the associated administrative duties.
  • To perform on site duties as required.
  • To provide information to enable administrators to prepare quotations for a variety of work.
  • Engineerwill be required to read, understand and adhere to relevant safety documentation for engineers as required.
  • Engineer will develop and maintain effective working relations with Service director and work closely with the service director toward common goals. This includes all supervisors and managers.
  • To work to the company’s management and quality systems.
  • Engineerwill advise on equipment, materials and resources required for remedial and PPM works.
  • Engineer will work on their own skills to always improve and keep current with the industry. They will take part in (CPD) continual professional development.
  • To participate in the weekly out of hours on call rota. (On call rota is 1 week every 10 weeks approx.).
