Job Description

Flights and Air ExecutiveCentral LondonBase salary to £28,000 + BenefitsMy client is a leading travel company who specialise in worldwide luxury travel.Due to an upturn in the travel industry, they are now seeking to recruit a Flights and Air Coordinator to support the ticketing, sales and product teams.The Flights and Air Executive will have extensive ticketing experience and flights knowledge and will have been using Amadeus.Flights and Air Executive Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitoring e-mail & phone daily to answer deviation requests in a timely manner
  • Ensuring pricing & charge additional fees when required
  • Maintaining airline contract fares and rules to ensure best air schedules and fares are utilized
  • Issuing airline tickets according to airline policies and procedures and deliver correct copies to documentation for distribution to the guests
  • Coordinating effort to ensure the appropriate air schedule displays in the internal reservation system
  • Courteously communicating with external customers to advise of applicable air itinerary changes resulting from an airline-initiated flight change
  • Providing courteous, professional and prompt response to e-mail, fax and phone requests for air programs information from internal and externally customers.
