Job Description

ITF is an international federation of transport workers trade unions recognised as the worlds leading transport authority. We are the voice for 20 million members working men and women across the world. The ITF Head Office is based in Borough, London. International offices include Amman, Hong Kong, Montreal, Nairobi, New Delhi, Abidjan, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney. The successful candidates will be responsible for efficient processing of Agreement applications monitoring consultations, assembling and verifying evidence in support of beneficial ownership; representing the ITF to ship-owners, affiliates and inspectors in connection with agreement processes and related matters; responsible for identifying source of unallocated cash receipts relating to Welfare Fund and membership fees and preparing special agreements and related documentation.You will work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues; secure the active interests of ITFs aims and objectives and provide narrative reports for relevant decision-making bodies including constitutional and non-constitutional entities within ITF structures.Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level ; broad experience in general administration and data inputting as well as knowledge of the transport industry is desirable. High level communication skills, both verbally and in writing are key plus a proven ability to develop positive relationships with organisations and individuals across diverse cultures. Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, knowledge of a second language would be an advantage.Further details about the role and the person specification are found in the attached JD.
