Our client is a rapidly growing eCommerce Solutions startup that specialises in cross-border eCommerce logistics. The company has ambitious plans and are soon about to launch a new bespoke operational platform to power its operations. The team that is leading the change is now looking to take the next steps in their journey in becoming a world-class software delivery organisation. We are now recruiting for an Agile Project Manager, you will manage traditional project manager duties such as planning, risk management, stakeholder management and followup. But more importantly you will also shoulder the responsibility of setting up a completely new software delivery process with a greater emphasis of experimentation and prototyping for value assessment (i.e. lean startup methodologies and similar).You will report to the Head of R&D, but you will work across the organisation with the rest of the department Heads with on-going developments. What you will be working on:* Implementing a new software delivery process - starting from how to generate product ideas, how to test and validate them, all the way until working software with everything in-between. In a way you could say you will re-invent the product development process itself.* Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of developments. * Carry out planning - Defining features, phases, epics, and timelines. * Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time. * Initiate developments - check feasibility and work out budgets, teams, and resources. * Executing and managing software development projects * Building & maintaining strong relationships with team members, c-level team, department heads and vendors. * Supporting team members with managing projects and expectationsEssential Skills: * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment * Experience leading and managing development efforts * Self-starter * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to work independently without guidance, as well as part of a team. Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities * A business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance short-term benefits with long-term stability of the system. * Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking * High level of attention to * Experience from the eCommerce, logistics or supply chain industry Desirable Skills: * Proven & demonstrable experience in Lean startup methodology for market and product fit assessment. * Proven & demonstrable experience in Design thinking methodology for user fit assessment. * Basic technical know-how such as the ability to read code or sql queryingWhy ApplyMy client offers a competitive total salary package - £40,000 to £43,000Youll also get 25 days holiday, Cycle-to-Work and more!
