Assured Breeder Scheme AdministratorBreeder Services DepartmentPermanent contractThe primary objective of the Kennel Club is to improve in every way the welfare, health, and general well being of all dogs throughout their lives, through various research and educational programmes, and our charitable trust. The Kennel Club is an organisation committed to promoting and protecting dogs’ varied roles in society and defending the interests of all dog owners.An opportunity has arisen for an Assured Breeder Scheme Administrator within our Operations Department. The role is based within the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme Team, which delivers membership services to Breeders who participate in the scheme.In this role, you will be responsible for all forms of administration to support the delivery of all aspects of the Scheme. This will include handling telephone enquiries and managing correspondence by email and post. You will assist with processing membership applications and renewals and all aspects of the Breeder visit process including scheduling visits, a compilation of visit packs, and processing assessment reports. You will also assist with the maintenance and compilation of team statistics for reports, articles, and web pages.The ideal candidate will have solid administration experience and be confident on the telephone and dealing with of a range of people. You will also be competent using Microsoft Office and CRM systems and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail is essential and a flexible approach to work.You must be happy working in a busy environment within a small team that is committed to the responsible breeding and husbandry of dogs.
