Job Description

Administrative Assistant Lettings / Estate Agency (East London)Type: Permanent

  • Location: East London
  • Hours: 09:00 to 18:00
  • Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays, which Time off in Lieu will be given)
  • Annual Leave: 20 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

Due to continued success, our clients Estate Agency are now looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join the team in the East London office to support the established property team.Job DescriptionThis fast paced, exciting and ever evolving role involves support the Director, Valuer / Lettings team and their sales team in their day to day activities, including and not limited to:
  • Qualifying applicants / Registering on system
  • Organising contractors to attend to maintenance issues and liaising with
  • landlords where applicable.
  • Property File upkeep
  • Assisting sales team members
  • Diary management
  • Filing office general office paperwork, sales paperwork
  • Updating banking, pipeline and weekly spreadsheets
  • Updating window display
  • Preparing reports when needed
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Keep a handle on all invoices/accounts/chasing completion monies
  • The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to timeThe type of person we are looking for:-As this is a role which requires the right person to hit the ground running, you will already be in, or have held a similar Administrative role in the property sector.
  • Previous Administrative experience
  • Ideally possess a relevant qualification in IT and / or NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or degree
  • Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be an effective communicator, able to deal with clients and internal personnel in a clear and practical manner
  • Must be exceptionally well organised and able to multi-task
  • Have a pleasant and confident telephone manner
  • Must be able to stay calm under pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines
