I am urgently seeking an Acoustics consultant to work in North London for a specialist independent acoustic sustainability engineering and environmental design firm. This company boasts a truly flat structure where any new ideas for emerging markets or disciplines are welcome and explored with the right support. Going through an exciting rebranding process as we speak, our client is currently putting together a robust proposal to lead the way in building compliance regulations with the sustainability and noise assessments for construction.You need to be BSc or MSc qualified in acoustics or closely related subject, and also be an associate or full member of the Institute of Acoustics. My client needs an individual who has had commercial exposure to acoustic consultancy environment. Typical duties are- * Undertaking noise and vibration surveys and sound insulation testing* Inputting into Acoustic design work. * Writing technical reports. *Noise modelling My client is looking for an individual with a keen interest in the built environment and aurilisation techniques in design, knowledge and understanding of working guidelines is essential to carry out the duties of this post.
