Job Description

This role of an Accounts Senior, is vital in delivering premium accounting services, requiring a proactive team player with a keen eye for detail in the professional services industry.Client DetailsOur client is a mid-sized professional services firm spanning accross Central London and the home counties. Known for its commitment to quality and personable client approach, this accountancy firm maintains a strong reputation in the industry, offeringa wide range of services lines to an extensive client base.Description

  • Oversee the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries, offering professional advice.
  • Manage a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Participate in business development and networking activities.
  • Review and improve internal accounting processes and systems.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery.
ProfileA successful Accounts Senior should have:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and encourage junior members of the team.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Outstanding client service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships.
  • A practical understanding of accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, CCH and MS Office.
