Job Description

You career and progression within the firm is encouraged through training and personal developmentwith a supportive group of leaders.DescriptionInvolves substantial contact with both clients and your team, as well as many other individuals and organisations.Your client base will be interesting and you will have the chance to work with sizeable and some complex client work.Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of year end statutory accounts under FRS102 1A and FRS102.
  • Preparation of draft corporation tax computations.
  • Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts, and VAT returns.
  • Working closely with junior members of the team, helping them to develop, mentoring and training.
  • Delegate work and review where appropriate
  • Assisting Clients directly with queries and providing suitable solutions
ProfileThe ideal Accounts Senior will be qualified (ACA/ACCA), with at least 2-3 years practice experience in the UK.The most suitable candidates for this Accounts Senior role, will have a strong attention to detail and a professional approach to clients and colleagues. You will hold a firm commitment to providing a top quality client service.
  • Excellent engagement and communication skills
  • IT literate with exposure to accounting software and Microsoft office applications
