Job Description

Accounts Receivable - City of London Permanent + Hybrid working (3 days in / 2 days WFH)9am - 5:30pmCobalt is working with a highly valued global real estate advisory firm. With a wide European presence, this firm is dedicated to achieving outstanding outcomes and client needs. They are presently in search of a proficient Accounts receivable to becomepart of their energetic team based in their London Office.Youll join a dynamic team of 4 Accounts Receivables within a finance team of 30. Were seeking someone self-motivated, adept in Accounts Receivable duties, and a collaborative team player.Day to day:

  • Perform daily fee verification and control checks.
  • Record cash transactions from company bank accounts on a daily basis.
  • Generate weekly Aged Debts reports for all companies and distribute them internally.
  • Monitor unallocated cash, collaborate with treasury, and accurately assign payments.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and letters to facilitate cash identification.
  • Manage the credit control email inbox, promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Process client refunds by initiating necessary payment transactions.
  • Support the legal team with queries concerning outstanding debts for collection.
  • Assist the Credit Controllers in cash collection responsibilities.
Person Specification:
  • Prior experience in credit control / accounts receivable in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Strong numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Tenacious, assertive, and self-motivated, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Highly conscientious and focused, possessing a deep understanding of credit control /accounts receivable procedures, excellent interpersonal abilities for effective communication across all levels, and an analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
