Job Description

A an award-winning law firm are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This role does have the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. This role is primarily concerned with the administration of accountspayable, disbursement management and petty cash management.Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process purchase invoices and cheque requests
  • Input all supplier and associate invoices to the accounting and invoices system
  • Upload case-related disbursements to practice management system.
  • Process bank and BACS payments to suppliers and send remittance advices.
  • Input all bank payment entries
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Reconcile UK bank accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Update monthly exchange rates in the accounting and practice management system.
  • Coordinate credit card account reconciliation.
  • Supervising and supporting the Accounts Payable Clerk.
You will be comfortable working in a modern, fast-paced environment where you are given a level of autonomy to do your work. Successful candidates will also be able to demonstrate the following:
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience from another law firm or a professional services environment
  • An appropriate professional attitude (personable, well prepared, flexible and enthusiastic)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to deal with a variety of people at different levels
  • Self-motivation, and the ability to manage own workload
