Company OverviewYou will be joining a well-established, highly regarded, prestigious and globally recognised Law Firm as their Accounts Payable (AP) Manager on an initial 16 month fixed term contract (MAT Cover). You will be leading a team of 4 Accounts Payable Assistantsand you will be supported by a wider finance team of 22, reporting into the Finance Director. Based in their very modern and luxurious City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days, in line with thefirms hybrid working model.Role ResponsibilitiesIn your new role, you will be responsible for managing all areas of the London AP function, supervising a team of 4 AP Assistants, approving new vendor documents, overseeing the invoice/expense approval process within Chrome River, managing expense reimbursementprocesses, managing escalated issues, monitoring performance metrics of the department to provide insight on development needs, effectively communicating with end-users, working with external service providers and payment processing on the firms banking platforms.You will ensure processes are performed accurately and in compliance with all the firms policies.Role RequirementsIn order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a very strong understanding of Accounts Payable, with previous line management/team leadership/supervisory experience in all aspects of AP processes. You will possess the ability to meet tight, conflictingdeadlines, handling multiple priorities and perform the job responsibilities with minimal supervision. You will demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, be a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a results-orientated approach and havea mature attitude. You will have advanced Excel skills and prior knowledge of Elite 3E/Chrome River is highly advantageous.
