Job Description

CMC is working with an established Financial Services business that requires an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their high growth team. Located in the heart of London, this permanent position offers you the chance to join an exceptional team.Please note you must be available at short notice

  • Process and review employee expense reports for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and expense guideline
  • Verify supporting documentation, such as receipts and invoices and record expenses in the financial system
  • Validate all trades and commissions payable
  • Resolve discrepancies and follow up with employees and managers regarding missing or incorrect information
  • Review and validate supplier invoices, and payment request
  • Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and financial records
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process
  • Post monthly journal entries
Requirements
  • Available immediately
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role within a Financial Services (or similar)
  • Ability to solve problems and resolve queries promptly.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to pick up and learn new accounting systems
  • Maintain, improve and implement relevant KPI’s.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with non finance
