Accounts Manager with VAT Focus (Property) Putney Bridge (Hybrid) £50,000 to £70,000 (DOE) Butler Rose public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a dynamic accounting firm with international presence that are now keen to appoint a well-qualified, experienced, and highly skilled Manager to oversea accounting procedures such as Bookkeeping& Management Accounts, but also be involved heavily in Property VAT. Role Requirements - Continuous improvement of month end processes for a variety of clients including PLCs Completing accurate monthly management accounting duties and reporting Financial reporting responsibility including the tailoring of reporting information to deliver financial improvement Delivery of financial reporting including communication and explanation to enable understanding for senior non-financial client heads Monitoring, reporting and delivery of ad hoc reporting including cash flow forecasting, project costing, tracking costs, recurring revenues and WIP Balance sheet reconciliations Management, development and training of accountancy and bookkeeping team through to professional qualification Heavy focus on VAT within property (landlords and rentals) Person Requirements - CTA qualified (Desirable) with at least 2+ years post qualification experience in a similar Manager role overseeing, supporting and reviewing staff Comfortable taking responsibility, happy to take the lead and deliver on projects Able to manage tasks with good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines Have strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with clients and teams Show depth of technical and professional standards, with an analytical approach and good attention to detail This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join a truly dynamic accounting firm that still retains a traditional feel.
