Job Description

Accounts assistant£30-32,000 + excellent beneftsWest End- Hybrid workingOur client is a dynamic and extremely sociable tech firm with stunning offices in the West end. They are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking graduate to join their Finance Team as an Accounts Assistant. You will learn a wide varietyof accounting skills on-the-job, whilst studying towards a funded three year ACCA qualification to qualify as an Accountant. This role will offer early responsibility and have a variety of duties.Some of the tasks you will do:

  • Sales Ledger: preparing invoices based on input data from other teams
  • Purchase ledger: posting invoices and preparing payment runs
  • Resolving customer and supplier invoice queries
  • Assisting with preparing the month end accounts
  • Assisting with annual processes such as budgets and year-end audit
  • Assisting with general office and administrative duties as necessary

  • You have graduated (or are graduating) with a STEM Bachelors degree, having achieved at least 2:1 (or an equivalent)
  • You enjoy Maths and have achieved an A or higher at A-levels (or an equivalent)
  • You are prepared to commit to a three year ACCA study programme, balancing full time work and study
  • You are confident using technology, such as MS Office and Confluence, and are keen to learn
