Job Description

Kenny Recruit have partnered with a creative agency specialising in sport, fitness and well-being to find an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. The company are built with creatively-led team members who have backgrounds at some of the worldstop agencies and they all have a shared passion for sport and fitness. The team understand how sport, creativity and culture connect. This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in sport, fitness or well-being and who has a years worth of experienceas an Accounts Assistant.Working closely with the FC/FD, you will keep the day-to-day running of the finances as smooth as possible. You will be a partner to the account management team, acting as their first point of call for finance assistance, supporting and enabling them todrive the commercial success of the businessPay- £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) study support is offeredLocation- Central London (flexibility to work at home or in the office)Working hours- 9.30am - 6.00pmRoles: Purchase

  • Maintenance of the purchase ledger: setting up new suppliers, keeping details up to date and liaising with suppliers
  • Registering all purchase invoices and expenses
  • Preparation of weekly payment runs for FC Approval
  • Processing staff expense claims: checking VAT, cost allocation and raising queries where necessary
Sales
  • Maintenance of the sales ledger: setting up new clients, keeping details up to date and liaising with clients
  • Creating sales invoices and managing billings
  • Credit Control: chasing clients for payments, running weekly aged debtors report, and flagging cause for concern
Other Responsibilities
  • Assistance with fee reconciliations and job costing, and other WIP-related support
  • Assistance with the year-end audit processes
  • Timesheet tardiness reporting to the FC/FD and Joint Heads of Account Management
  • Ad hoc finance-related duties in an ever changing and expanding agency
Key Working Relationships
  • FC/FD, CFO, Account Management, Producers, Office & HR Manager, CEO
About You
  • You have strong attention to detail
  • You are a team player with good communication skills
  • You are highly organised
  • You have a background in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • You are a problem solver
  • An interest in sports and marketing would be desirable
