Job Description

Job TitleAccounting Services ManagerLocationLondonSalary£50,000 - £60,000 + Flexi BenefitsOne of the most well-known firms in the world are looking to recruit into their Accounting Services team and are keen to hire a Manager, someone who is keen to move into a busy, demanding role, but one which will have excellent, clear progression and theopportunity to work with some exciting clients.The role is hybrid, so you can mix up your weeks by working from the office and from home and you will support the Partners closely. You will learn how to win new business, potentially go on secondments to work in-house at a clients (typically FC or FD roles)and will work with an ambitious set of trainees.Details of the role

  • Preparation of financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102, FRS 102a
  • Reviewing the work of the junior members of the team
  • Bookkeeping and VAT work
  • Management accounts preparation
  • Managing your own client portfolio, liaising with them on a daily/weekly basis
  • Providing advisory services to clients
What youll need to succeed
  • You will be a fully qualified accountant, either ACA or ACCA
  • Excellent financial reporting skills
  • Experience of reviewing work of juniors
  • Experience of working on FRS 102 clients
  • Ideally (not essential) experience of preparing accounts to IFRS standards
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with clients
  • Ability to answer any queries from clients and open to secondments
