The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing the Infrastructure for Tomorrow-infrastructure with sustainability at its core. Working with partners, AIIB meets clients needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructurethat is green, technology-enabled and promotes regional connectivity. The selected candidate will assist in AIIBs financial accounting and reporting, particularly in the preparation of financial reports and maintenance of daily accounting duties. They willprovide support for various accounting and financial reporting functions. Responsibilities Perform daily accounting duties, complete general ledger operations in the financial system (SAP), assist with period-end closing, reconciliations, and other financialaccounting duties. Prepare analysis of accounts as requested, administer accounts receivable and accounts payable, and account/bank reconciliations, etc. Review and process expense reports, and assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements. Conductfinancial analysis on transactional movements at the trial balance level as well as the portfolio level and compare these against historical performance and prepare reports for Management. Prepare general ledger adjustments before period-end closures. Reviewthe subledger vs general ledger reconciliation results, investigate reconciliation breaks and analyze the variance. Participate in IT system-related projects and process improvements. Perform ad hoc analysis and other accounting duties as assigned. RequirementsMinimum 2-3 years of relevant practical experience working in an international bank and/or large organization. Analytical, problem solver and solutions provider with a sound knowledge of financial accounting and reporting. Proficiency in relevant accountingsoftware and financial management systems. Effective organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines. A team player who can communicate for results. Possession of a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)designation from a reputable and internationally recognized institution would be an advantage.
