Job Description

Do you have wide ranging accountancy experience and are looking for a part time role Are you interested in sport and experience working within a charityIf so, we are working with the charitable arm of a sports team who are looking for an Accountant to work closely with the clubs finance department on a part time basis.This role will likely consist of around 16 hours per week on a flexible basis.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Month end responsibilities including preparing and posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and more.
  • Ensuring the correct upkeep of debtor and creditor ledgers.
  • Observing and adhering to charitable status requirements.
  • Ensuring the processing of any purchase and sales invoices.
  • Analysis of revenue streams and financial planning and forecasting.
  • Supporting grant applications with relevant financial information.
Role Requirements:
  • AAT qualified at minimum or qualified by experience.
  • Advanced level Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of working within charity/not-for-profit sector.
  • Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to build relationships with people across the business.
  • Energetic self-starter who is willing to take ownership of work and projects.
