Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

Supervise the accounting operations
Prepare profit and loss account and balance sheet and submit them in time
Ensure legislation is followed regarding VAT, PAYE, TOMS and ABTA/CAA (tourism licenses)
Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Performing monthly bank reconciliations (3 currencies)
Supervise booking of accounts payable
Work with external auditors during financial audits
Supervise cash collection process, carry out monthly reporting of aging balance of customer receivables
Working closely with commercial team
Recovery and sendingpayroll data to the outsourced company
Monthly declarations to Tax authorities (fringe benefits, VAT)
Year-end tax declaration with the tax advisors

Candidate Profile

CPA or Min Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
You have at least 3-5 years of experience in Finance and accounting
You are an expert in standard accounting, local accountancy, local legislation, accounting controlling methods & tools, and accounting analysis
Oracle system knowledge and strong Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You are rigorous, organized and have the sense of confidentiality
