Job Description

Do you have an interest in photography, nature observation or sports optics Do you have proven experience of B2B sales If working in a role that will enable you to combine this sounds like a great opportunity for you… then read on!The roleOur client is a dominant world leader in the manufacture of optics that are implemented into a wide range of products used for photography, nature observation and sports optics. These products include;- Lenses for SLE/CSC cameras- Lenses for rangefinder cameras- Binoculars- Spotting scopes- Rifle scopesWe are seeking an Account Manager (sales) to join their established team to support the Southern UK region with a key focus on the London region. The role will be focused on developing business with retailers of the above products, therefore B2B experience is necessary but ideally within a product portfolio that is then sold in a B2C capacity.The region has a good base of established customers which will require ongoing support and CRM in order to maximise the relationship potential. There will also be a key requirement for developing new relationships with retailers to ensure sales growth.The requirementsThe successful candidates will ideally have an interest in photography, nature observation or sports optics alongside;

  • Proven track record of B2B (business to business) sales
  • Strong relationship management capabilities
  • Hunger to drive new business
  • Experience of supporting a portfolio that is B2C focused but sold through B2B channels
  • Good sales planning skills, ability to manage a demanding territory independently
  • Stability on CV
