Job Description

Account Manager - £40k Basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £15k - £20k) + Benefits.Benefits for you:

About the CompanyOur client is at the heart of the global investment community providing insightful analysis, research, and data to many of the world’s global financial institutions.Their clients include most of the world’s top tier investment banks, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, Private Equity Firms, Brokers, and Government Institutions who rely on them to provide regular analysis and advice to stay ahead of the market.This company has a proven track record of developing people from within the business (most of the current management and leadership team have grown from within).About the role of Account ManagerJoining an ambitious and successful account management team based in the heart of Central London you will be responsible for:
  • Managing all aspects of the renewal cycle managing relationships with 100+ existing accounts including Investment Banks, Private Equity Firms and Service Providers
  • Upgrading single user subscriptions to multiuser subscriptions
  • Providing proactive and consultative client support ensuring high retention and net revenue growth within your existing client base
  • Be the 1st point of contact for any training requirements or customer issues
  • Hunting for new business within existing clients and look to cross sell / up sell additional subscription data licenses to existing accounts
  • Achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets
  • Negotiating renewal subscriptions with existing clients whilst always looking to grow your existing book of business
About You
  • Proven track record in Account Management (min. 2+ years) with experience of the full account management process from renewals to driving new business growth
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
  • Track record of selling business information / business intelligence / SAAS (ideally Financial Data / Financial information) or selling into Banks / Financial Instutitions
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent face to face presentation skills and experience
