Account ManagerChartered Membership BodyLondon/HybridBasic Salary £35,000 plus benefits including 23 Days Holiday, Group Personal Pension Plan. Remote based with twice a month into London for staff days to begin with. Then moving towards a 2024/2025 London/Hybrid modelThe Role of Account ManagerThe purpose of this role is to maximise corporate affiliate retention, renewal and incomeKey ResponsibilitiesDealing with incoming enquiries (primarily via email) from existing corporate affiliatesMonitor the renewal status of all corporate affiliate organisations, alerting the Corporate Development Associate of long-overdue accounts so that they can be lapsed.Retaining existing corporate affiliates, ensuring swift payment, and chasing outstanding accounts.Be a credible ambassador for the institute, role modelling the institute values and its professional code of conduct.Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships.Conduct membership sessions to consult and explain the benefits of corporate membership to new corporate teams, emphasizing how the institute can support their public relations efforts.Conduct structured and insightful corporate reviews, gathering feedback from the corporate affiliate organisations, addressing any concerns raised.Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of the institutes additional services, such as training.Analyse corporate review feedback and identify trends or patterns to inform the corporate development team.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all corporate interactions, including contact information, membership details, session outcomes, and review insights.Provide support and coordination to corporate accounts, addressing inquiries, managing requests, and ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise.Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and sector obstacles to provide consultative advice to corporate teams on maximizing their membership benefits within the changing landscape of public relations.Person SpecificationExcellent customer service and administrative skills, able to interreact clearly, professionally, and engagingly over the phone and on email. Able to tailor communication strongly to the audience and their needs.Advanced CRM/database user, can demonstrate extensive previous use of databases.Achievement oriented, likes to be recognised by peers.Focused and driven and used to working to targets.Strong empathy, active listening skills and perceptivenessDemonstrating a positive attitude and the ability to influence colleagues and members.Organised, meticulous and used to planning ahead.Able to take personal responsibility for managing own workload, multi-tasking where required.Creative, demonstrating excellent problem solving and open to change.
