Job Description

Are you an AAT qualified Outsourcing & Accounts Semi Senior (either recently AAT qualified and looking to start the ACCA or AAT qualified and part way through your ACCA exams) with strong outsourcing and management accounts, VAT and Bookkeeping experience, looking to join a medium sized practice based in an easily accessible location in Central London Are you looking for a role with a February or March 2021 start date Are you also looking for a role which will allow flexible working and the ability to work from home at least 2 days a week Are you looking for a role which will also offer study support for any remaining ACCA exams Are you looking for an outsourcing based role where you manage your own portfolio of clients, prepare management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments Do you have at least 2 - 3 years experience in an accountancy practice background and looking to upgrade to a medium sized accountancy firm with over 50 staff, which has a client base to rival a much larger firm Client sectors include property, international businesses, large retailers, technology start ups, and entertainment and media clients. You will work with many private clients as well as large corporate businesses. Based in a very successful outsourcing department, your role will be varied and will be split between preparing management accounts, general bookkeeping duties using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks and the preparation of VAT returns. You will be offering clients advice, prepare various reports, analysis and business management assignments (such as budgets, cashflows, forecasts, working at clients premises etc) for a wide range of very interesting clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a medium size and well established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future, including future progression to Outsourcing & Accounts Senior grade. Remote working / flexible working arrangements are offered going forwards.To be considered for this new role you MUST be AAT qualified, and either looking to start the ACCA or have already started the ACCA (in which case study support will be offered for your remaining exams). You will currently be operating as a Semi Senior in a good quality practice firm with at least 2 to 3 years experience working for a UK based practice firm. You must have experience of the above duties, particularly management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Quickbooks Online, Sage and Xero, would be an advantage but training will be provided.
