Job Description

3rd Line EngineerPiccadilly Circus (must be able to commute to Slough as well when required)Up to £50k salary depending on experienceThe 3rd line Engineer will be the Technical lead for an End User based in Piccadilly circus. This will involve being a point of escalation for 2nd Line, managing small projects, and client systems. You will be using technologies including Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, (SCCM & Airwatch) packaging. This would also include interpreting requirements, delivering solutions and standard processes.Required Skills

  • 3+ years experience in a 3rd Line Engineer role
  • Good knowledge of SCCM (Systems Centre Configuration Manager)
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft Teams in particular
  • Good understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot networks
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively
  • Experience of dealing with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Experience of managing small projects
    • Skills and Abilities Required
  • Able to influence the direction of the technical strategy with peers and wider teams within the Technology Team.
  • Ability to learn new software/hardware in a timely manner
  • Have the ability to lead the analysis, design and specification of medium complex technical solutions - planning, implementing and documenting
  • Proficient with methods, techniques and tools for planning, organising, resourcing, directing, co-ordinating and monitoring ongoing (non-project) activities
    • Experience Required
  • A proven track record in enterprise system administration and at a 3rd Line Engineer level
  • Significant experience of engaging with multi agency partners
  • Proven experience of Microsoft Server architecture and of Windows and applications design and implementation.
  • A proven track record of delivery of medium to large projects.
  • Production of procedural documentation and its use.
